Faux Deer Decor ♥

I love faux deer heads. They really add that punch to a room and I'd love to get one for my study. The sky blue walls would look amazing next to white resin. However, decorating with this type of piece can be tricky. It takes the right kind of mix to keep it fresh and modern, otherwise you get something more along the lines of this: Ok, maybe that's extreme, but anyhoo - here's a little inspiration for those of you who love faux deer decor but don't know how to incorporate it into your own setting. I particularly like the deer silhouettes and the ornate circular frames placed around them. You can also take that extra step and place pretty wallpaper underneath. New Illustrations, New Etsy Shop

Just a quick post. I've been working a lot in Illustrator Cs4, and decided to open a new Etsy shop. The reason being I've got two different styles going on, and didn't want to combine the two. Willow and Fern Studio being more earthy, and nature related, and the new Loco Moco Studio, which is more fresh, fun and colorful with a Mid Century Modern, Atomic, Mod (whatever you want to call it) feel to it. Nature Inspired Modern Decor

I love to mix nature with modern. The look is clean and organic. And I love David Wiseman's Branch Chandelier. It's a little unexpected, totally nature inspired and a clear work of art.
